"Awut Alic is a 6' athletic phenom! She is a young lady who can anticipate the game better than anyone. Her hands are always on the ball impacting the game in more ways than one. She hunts down offensive boards, loose balls, picks off steals in gaps.  Her quickness and IQ matched with her explosiveness and ability to score at all three levels is second to none.  Awut's ability to drop passes on a dime, or pull up for a 3 in transition or while attacking the rim, after shaking her defender loose with a punch dribble and step back to create space, is beyond impressive.  Awut's ability to knock down shots through contact, and reach new heights physically with her 31" vertical is absolutely exhilarating.  Awut is relentless and never gives up on the game or her teammates.  She's kind, warm, a bright light, and unafraid to stand up for what's right and good. This makes her that much more appealing as a Leader who continues to give of herself to her team and the game.  She is constantly watching college and professional players, and developing her understanding of basketball and what makes people great. Awut has a clear passion for the game, and shows it with her relentless drive for excellence! Awut is continuing to explore her future academic options and is open to exploring opportunities throughout the country. She is being recruited by mid and high major D1's and holds Power 5 offers as well.  Awut would be an absolute game changer and joy to have on any team!"
