Wisconsin Blaze is a non-profit sports organization.
Please review age definition and tryout/commitment date policies below and attend the appropriate tryout.
You should plan to attend the tryout for the age-team which you intend to play. Please note, this may be different from the age you currently are.

2021–22 USA VOLLEYBALL AGE DEFINITIONS
*The USA Volleyball board of directors voted July 1, 2020, to adjust the USAV junior age definitions; effective for the 2020-21 season. Please review the new age definitions carefully to ensure you attend the correct tryout!

2021-22 TRYOUT/COMMIT POLICY & DATES
- 14-and-under boys and girls (born July 1, 2007, and after)
- First available date clubs can hold tryouts: Oct. 2, 2021
- A player (regardless of whether they played for a club in the 2019-20 season) will not be required to commit to a club until 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 4.
- All offers made after 7:01 p.m. Oct. 5 are at the discretion of the club
- 15-and-older boys and girls (born June 30, 2007 and before)
- First available date for tryouts: Nov. 13, 2021
- A player (regardless of whether they played for a club in the 2020-21 season) will not be required to commit to a club until 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15.
- All offers made after 7:01 p.m. Nov. 15 are at the discretion of the club
As always, players are encouraged to let clubs know of your intentions as soon as the decision has been made – a player does NOT need to wait until the deadline to accept or decline an offer.

2. Allow players and families to seek information they want from clubs.

TRYOUT REGISTRATION STEPS
Please follow these three steps to complete your tryout registration.
- Review Team Fees for the upcoming season (in the Tryout folder)
- Complete Blaze Tryout Payment ($35)

- Boys and Girls 14 and Under
- Boys and Girls 15 and Older
- Purchase Badger Region Membership (Opens Sept 1st)

- Membership Cards - membership cards are now digital in Sports Engine. They can be added to Apple Wallet or Google Pay, but there is not an option to print the membership card. - If you have any questions on membership please contact Badger Region at membership@badgervolleyball.org BEFORE completing the purchase process; Badger Region does not offer membership refunds.
Badger Region is the Wisconsin chapter of the National USA Volleyball organization. All clubs and club members must join this organization in order to participate in Badger Region and USAV sanctioned tournaments.
